About Wildlife Victoria in Fitzroy

Wildlife Victoria is a charity organisation committed to reducing the suffering of wildlife by providing an emergency response service for injured, sick and orphaned wildlife across Victoria. This vital community service is supported by over 1, 500 trained and experienced volunteers, other wildlife groups and generous vets. These dedicated volunteers assess, advise, rescue, educate, treat, rehabilitate and release the animals back into the wild.

In many cases saving them from certain death and giving them a new start in life. Last year Wildlife Victoria received over 60, 000 calls, assisting over 30, 000 animals and offering guidance and advice to the community on how to handle a given wildlife situation.

Wildlife Victoria currently receives no government funding and operates on the generosity of donors who love and cherish our wildlife.
